Hello everyone,
We want to inform that we fixed recents. Now only some minor problems left we encountered while testing. The main functionality is working

#CipherOS #CALLISTO #News
Many of you might think that we are delaying the release on purpose, but in reality we do not want to delay it anymore, in fact we want to release the source as soon as we can, but as internal testing progresses we come across the bugs which we certainly do not want you guys to experience. We were getting ready to release this weekend but, we noticed a major bug with the redesigned QS panel, and we won't like to release it with that bug at all, fixing that would take sometime and we're working on that, keep in mind that we do work on CipherOS in our free time, we also have our personal life and priorities please don't ping/ask for ETA again and again, you'll be notified whenever the source is released. Everyone in the core team is busy with their own life and we barely get time on weekends to work on source, that's the reason releases are getting delayed. I hope everyone of you will understand & co-operate with us.

Thanks & Regards.

Over the past months, our team of dedicated developers has been working tirelessly to bring you a seamless and innovative user experience, filled with exciting features inspired by #SeamlessDesign . We were truly excited about the prospects of CipherOS Android 13 and had high hopes for its timely release.

However, we must humbly admit that unforeseen challenges and circumstances have impeded the progress of this project. Our core developer team, consists of individuals who are still students or hold part/full-time jobs, also they've faced overwhelming personal commitments that demanded their immediate attention. This, in turn, affected our ability to address numerous issues & bugs within the cipher framework and prevented us from delivering the promised CipherOS 4.0 on schedule.

As a result, we understand the disappointment that our community has experienced due to the delay and the lack of proper communication/eta from our end. We thought that we'll be finally able to complete this but we couldn't. For this, we offer our sincerest apologies.

While we acknowledge that the past months have been challenging, we want to assure you that our commitment to CipherOS and its community remains unwavering. We are not deterred by this setback; rather, we are fueled with determination and passion to make things right.

Looking ahead, we are eager to announce that our team is already hard at work on CipherOS Android 14, and we have every intention of coming back with a bang. We have taken valuable lessons from our experiences, and we are implementing improvements to ensure better communication and project management.

We understand that actions speak louder than words, and our team's dedication to the project will be evident through our progress and updates. This time, we promise to keep you informed every step of the way.

Once again, we extend our heartfelt apologies to the entire CipherOS community. Your patience and understanding during this time are immensely appreciated. We will strive to learn from this and emerge stronger in our pursuit of delivering a remarkable user experience with CipherOS 5.0!

Thank you for being a part of our journey, and we eagerly look forward to sharing our progress and exciting developments with you soon.

Sincerely,
The CipherOS Team
Hi everyone, We sincerely apologize for the delay in the CipherOS release. This project started as a playground for our team to learn, grow, and deliver a unique experience to users. However, due to time constraints caused by real-life work, jobs, and education, we couldn't deliver the releases on time. Also, our team is smaller now, with only two people working on the source-code currently. But hopefully, we've made some good progress this time, and we're positive we can have releases on time.

Hi guys it has been a long time since we wrote something here. We want to restart this project and release the first beta in 1-2 weeks.
For that we have a question about the QS panel, which one we should use for the beta?
Anonymous Poll
65%
Old QS implementation (based on what other ROMs use, though it has some visual issues)
35%
AOSP QS
In any case we replace the QS panel with our own implementation once it is ready.
