"Dear teachers of the Chelyabinsk State University, dear students, activists of the Friendship Club with the DPRK, as the Chairman of the C. C. of the DPRK ISG, I am sincerely glad to see so many interested people at the event held at the initiative of our new primary cell. It was created with the aim of deepening, mutual understanding and cultural exchange between the peoples of our countries.
And, as you probably already know, on February 16, the people of Korea, like many progressive people of the world, celebrated the Day of the Shining Star. On this day, when the Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il was born in the Paektu secret camp, Koreans traditionally lay flowers at the bronze statues and memorials, remembering his eternal achievements not only in building a powerful nuclear power, but also in the field of international relations, which directly concern you and me."

On February 11, a unique international event dedicated to the Day of the Star was held at the Sergiev Posad Socio-Economic College. The event was attended by students and local deputies, as well as senior officials of the DPRK ISG from Russia, Tajikistan, the USA and Canada.
The hosts were the Club activists Arina Kislenkova and Marianna Ryzhova.
Alexander Mostov, Leader of the DPRK ISG, personally took part in the event.
The guests of honor of the event were Rita Tikhomirova (Chairman of the Council of Deputies of the Sergiev Posad Urban District), Maria Dine (Director of the Elizaveta Mamontova Center), Don Cowter (activist of the North American E.C. of the DPRK ISG and correspondent of the delegation of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the DPRK), Murodbek Yuldoshev (Acting Chairman of the Komsomol of Tajikistan and ideological leader of the Tajik E.C. of the DPRK ISG).

On February 11, Rita Tikhomirova, Chairman of the Council of Deputies of the Sergiev Posad Urban District, met with Alexander Mostov, Chairman of the DPRK ISG, together with activists of the local Russian-Korean Friendship Club.
Comrade Tikhomirova expressed admiration for the leadership qualities of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il.
She gave the leader of our organization a congratulatory telegram addressed to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, and also asked him to convey words of gratitude to the staff of the DPRK Embassy.
Then the leader of our organization took a photo with the activists and had a friendly conversation with them, answering each question. He emphasized that young people are the future of the international solidarity movement, and called on all leaders of primary organizations to follow the example of the Russian-Korean Friendship Club at the Sergiev Posad Technical School.
