In connection with the official recognition by the Russian side of the participation of the DPRK Armed Forces in a special military operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine, the leadership of the International Solidarity Group with the DPRK (DPRK ISG) decided to publish one of the letters of 2022 related to the period of the beginning of negotiations on military cooperation between the two countries.

2. Наши организации не имеют права собирать пожертвования за исключением редких случаев, таких как подготовка подарков или сбор гуманитарной помощи из-за наводнений. Это связано с тем, что подобные сборы средств бросали бы тень на имидж процветающей социалистической Кореи.
Мы настоятельно не советуем переводить мошенникам какие-либо денежные средства.

The great victory of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the Korean People's Army over Ukrainian neo-Nazi formations in the Kursk region, which took place on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, caused a deep response in the hearts of all Russian people. In honor of this significant event, an extended meeting of the Board of the Russian Society for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK was held on April 30, 2025, as part of the International Solidarity Group.
The following took their places in the presidium:
— Sergey Baburin (President of the IAPF)
— Viktor Petrov
— Alexander Vorontsov
— Ju Kyong Su
Christopher Helali was present as a special guest.
