Almighty God and Creator, You are the Father of all people on the earth. Guide, I pray, all the nations and their leaders in the ways of justice and peace. Protect us from the evils of injustice, prejudice, exploitation, conflict and war. Help us to put away mistrust, bitterness and hatred. Teach us to cease the storing and using of implements of war. Lead us to find peace, respect and freedom. Unite us in the making and sharing of tools of peace against ignorance, poverty, disease and oppression. Grant that we may grow in harmony and friendship as brothers and sisters created in Your image, to Your honor and praise. Amen.

🇩🇪 Before retracting their statement due to pressure from alternative media, LMU Klinikum, the largest hospital complex in the German city of Munich, announced they would no longer be treating Russian patients at their hospital. The letter reads:

"Dear Mrs ___

Due to the severe violation of international law by the apparently mentally disturbed autocrat Putin, we are now categorically refusing to treat Russian patients. Ukrainian patients are of course very welcome."

Is this now our new reality? Are innocent Russian citizens abroad, who have nothing to do with the government's invasion, meant to be left to die?

🇨🇿 A doctor in the Czech Republic is refusing to treat Russian patients after watching the media's calls to discriminate against Russians.

The sign pictured in the waiting room says:

"As of today, February 24, 2022, with immediate effect, as part of our moral stance, we will no longer treat Russian scum. Don't even try it with us."

If mankind accepts that sin is not a violation of God's law, if mankind accepts that sin is one of the acceptable options for human behaviour, then that will be the end of human civilization. And gay pride parades are designed to demonstrate that sin is just one variation of human behaviour. That's why in order to enter the club of those countries, it is necessary to hold a gay pride parade. Not to make a political statement 'we are with you', not to sign some agreements, but to hold a gay pride parade. We know how people resist these demands and how this resistance is suppressed by force. So it's about imposing by force a sin condemned by God's law, and therefore, by force imposing on people the denial of God and his Truth."

🇺🇦 Two separate bills have been submitted to the Ukrainian parliament this past week requesting to ban the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) from operating in the country, owing to its status as an autonomous branch of the Russian Orthodox Church.

The UOC is one of only two mainline Orthodox jurisdictions in Ukraine, the other being the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) which is more Western-oriented but only recognised by a minority of autocephalous churches in the Orthodox world.

Despite the UOC's opposition to the war, including a strong condemnation from its head, some lawmakers in the Eastern European country seek to outlaw its activities, claiming that it is an extension of 'Russian soft power' — something the UOC denies.

Ukrainian militants abducted a priest and some parishioners of a Russian Orthodox Church in the city of Smila, Cherkasy oblast.

The disturbing incident took place in the middle of service and was caught on video. The whereabouts of the people who were forcefully taken remain unknown.
