Useful keyboard shortcuts in Windows 10

Basic hotkeys

Win + I Brings up "Options"
Win + R Brings up the Run window
Win + E Brings up Windows Explorer
Win + X Brings up the Start context menu
Win + A Brings up the Windows Action Center
Win + L Locks Windows / brings up the lock screen
Ctrl + A Selects all text on the command line or text file
Shift + Del Deletes the selected item without moving it to the trash

Working with windows

Alt + Space Opens a menu with commands for the active window: Move, Minimize, Maximize, and Close
Win + Shift + Right Arrow Moves the window to the right screen (when multiple monitors are connected)
Win + Shift + Left Arrow Moves the window to the left screen (when multiple monitors are connected)
Alt + F4 Closes the active program or window and opens the Shut Down window
Win + Arrow / Left Positions the active window to the right/left of the screen
Win + D Switches to the desktop, pressing again returns to the program / window
Win + Up Arrow Maximizes the active window to full screen
Win + Down Arrow Minimizes the active window
