Just listened to the first ep of The Telepathy Tapes. If you're interested in that and just starting down the path of "the unseen connection between humanity," I highly suggest reading these books.
The Shitshow Macro Weekly Wrapup Friday, December 20, 2024 is out:

-The Defining the Deep State (and its component parts) long-form is up in both the post and podcast formats on the Substack and are free for all to read, listen to, and share (link is in my profile header on the X platform).
-Currently working on (working title) New Evidence That May Radically Change Our Understanding of The Human Timeline and Experience (gonna have to use my marketing brain to tighten that title up a bit)

Domestic:
-As it turns out, The Feds (and NARA) had pictures proving that “The Big Guy” Biden did in fact help his son “secure business deals” in China during his trips as VP the whole time.
--How weird that NARA helped concoct the lawfare cases against Trump before he was even out of office, but managed to hold on to these Biden pictures for so long.

-New annual data just released has shown that homelessness in the US has increased by 18.1%.
--This is Biden-Harrisnomics.
--This doesn’t happen overnight, folks. Everyone in DC and the media who told you the economy was strong under Biden was lying to you.

-After warrants were served, doors were kicked down, and law licenses threatened over people questioning the 2020 election or asking for closer inspection, The Hill released an article this week stating that Congress could refuse to seat Trump despite his winning the election and the GOP winning the House and Senate.
--Someone please explain to me like I’m 5 how the first is an “insurrection” but the Hill article isn’t.
--Reminder: They tried to take the law license away from former US Attorney @JeffClarkUS for writing a letter (which was never even sent) that was based on the Ligon Report (that Bill Barr refused to look into) in Fulton County (that we now know was hopelessly corrupt) over the 2020 election.
--Will the authors of this article in The Hill get the same treatment? Or is it (D)ifferent?
--Here’s a post from @KingMakerFT outlining just how egregious the lawfare against Jeff Clark was, and just how much “willful blindness” went on regarding 2020:

-I’ve seen people “reporting” on this but nothing official, so take this with a grain of salt, but….
--If what some are saying is true, a Georgia judge may have just ruled that “Big Fani” Willis has to testify under oath to the GA senate about her “Get Trump” cases.
--Here’s one from @BehizyTweets, and I believe I saw Tom Fitton talking about this as well:

-NY Gov Hochul seems to be in competition with CA Gov Newsom to see who can f%$# their populaces the hardest.
--Hochul signed a Climate Change Superfund Act, which will bill oil & gas companies $75 billion over the next 25 years.
--They (oil & gas companies) will either leave or pass that bill on to the end consumers. In California, they opted to leave.
--Thread and sub-thread shared by @chigrl :
x.com/chigrl/status/

-Trump’s offer to Canadian First Lady Trudeau seems to keep gaining steam and momentum.
--As Trudeau’s government continues its collapse, Shark Tank’s Mr. Wonderful has offered to negotiate the deal, commenting (rightly) that at least half of the Canadian populace is interested.
--Video from @ChiefNerd :

-The WSJ came out with an article this week claiming that the Biden Admin stifled scientists who were trying to sound the alarm on Coof being a lab leak, and that the FBI was the lone agency who was really, honestly, totally trying to bring that truth to light.
--Color me not convinced. The same guy who wrote this article had a previous one calling “vaccine denial” something that came from “Russian disinformation.”
--I’ll let this one marinate out there in the public for the sleuths to pull apart before I weigh in on its accuracy or provenance.
--The 48-72-hour rule is always in effect when dealing with the media on important stories.
-This could go in the geopolitics section, but it’s importance on the domestic front makes it more important to have here:
--Saudi Arabia has announced that it is freezing its BRICs membership due to the threat of Trump tariffs:
firstpost.com/world/saudi-ar

--I would just like to point out that, based on the MSM and Democrat logic of the past 8 years, anyone opposing Trump now must be a “Putin Puppet” as Trump pulled Saudi back into our corner and away from RUS.
--These are your rules, dick heads.

War/Military:
-An airplane from Azerbaijan crashed on Christmas after being forced to make a crash landing in Kazakhstan. There are a lot of outlets claiming to “know” what happened, but there are some weird elements here that are worth noting.
--Many are pointing the blame at RUS air defense systems due to a UKR drone attack that was happening at the time amid the plane’s attempt at its initial landing.
--The plane made 3 fly around attempts at landing in Grozny, RUS before diverting.
--UKR defense official Kovalenco immediately accused RUS of shooting down the aircraft, and said they should have closed off the airspace when the (UKR) drone attack came.
--He’s right on that point - but as the drone attack came from UKR, isn’t a little bit weird how quickly he came out to point the finger? Perhaps my cynicism is showing.

-Surprise, surprise. After terrorists (backed by XXXX) took over and toppled Syria, that nation is now wracked by sectarian violence.
--J’ai été surprise (/sarcasme). Who could have ever seen this coming?

-Another cable in the Baltic Sea has been severed, this time a power transmission cable linking Finland and Estonia.
--There is some interesting info here regarding a Russian “shadow fleet” of aging oil tankers used to evade oil embargoes, one of which is suspected to be behind this cable cutting:
sofx.com/finnish-author

-The US Coast Guard has begun construction on the first heavy polar ice breaking ship in over 50 years.
--Spoiler: Trump doesn’t want Greenland for the scenery and reindeer. It’s aboot arctic shipping lanes. And perhaps secret underground USMIL bases there that we’ve discussed previously.
sofx.com/us-coast-guard

-7 Chinese nationals have been arrested in Guam after illegally entering a sensitive USMIL facility during missile tests.
sofx.com/guam-arrests-7

Markets/economics:
-The BoJ (J-Pan) announced it may let its CB rates (their version of the Fed Funds Rate) move up to 1%.
--Reminder: they were the last major economy to move away from zero-bound rates.
--Shortly after the announcement, the USDJPY currency pair moved further into the “danger zone” above $160 (back down to $157.77 as of this writing).
--This is the zone that BOJ has shown it will defend strongly, so let’s see what happens.

-It was a bad end to the week for US markets, with all of the major indices in the red.
--Gold was also down, but oil crept up to $70.26.
--Most European and Asian markets were up, although the Heng Seng and FTSE 100 were just barely.
--Understand foreign money flows and the international access of most traders to get a feel for how this works.

-Janet Yellen has apparently told Congress that the US may hit its debt limit in mid-January.
--Weird, she seemed to constantly telegraph that wasn’t an issue at all to be worried about over the past 4 years.
--What changed, and what changes in mid-January that may have altered her narrative?

-The MOVE Index (bond market volatility) is still below $100 (94.80), but there are some issues in the bond market.

-The Green Grift keeps faltering, and now Big Oil is backing away from renewables just like Big Finance is.
--From Tracy Shuchart (@chigrl ):

-The Fed cut the Fed Funds Rate again at its last meeting, but both mortgages and the 10-year yield have popped back up (mortgages are back above 7% now). Why?
--Shitshow Macro premium subscribers and listeners know already, but for those of you who don’t,
--@ZeroHedge helps to explain it here:
zerohedge.com/markets/fed-cu

--Spoiler: The 100 bps of Fed rate cuts ended up bringing a 100 bps increase in the 10-year yield.
Chart from Zero Hedge in the show notes.

Health:
-We’ve been mentioning @AaronSiriSG a lot lately because he’s been on a roll forcing pharma companies and GOV agencies to turn over the “receipts” on shots.
--Spoiler: Most of the claims they make about safety don’t actually have any data (receipts) to back them up, as it seems.
--Tucker interviewed Aaron and it was released today. I probably won’t be able to watch this until next week, but here it is for you to watch:
x.com/TuckerCarlson/

--As pointed out in this thread from Aaron, while the media loves to claim (without evidence) that any link between the shots and autism has been “debunked,” there is no evidence of any study ever being done that actually debunked that possible linkage:
x.com/AaronSiriSG/st

-Another round of testing foods for dangerous plastics and phthalates is out from @nathfriedman and some of the entries on the list are quite worrisome (ribeyes from Whole Foods in the 90% according to his testing?):
x.com/natfriedman/st

Science:
-The latest Arctic ice data shows that right now there is 26% MORE arctic ice than there was in 2012.
--Didn’t Al Gore and John Kerry tell us the opposite was supposed to happen? And raise/spend billions of (our tax) dollars based on that assumption?
zerohedge.com/weather/doesnt

Geopolitics:
-There’s an interesting tit-for-tat going on between Ukraine and Slovakia right now.
--RUS gas flows through UKR to Slovakia. Slovakia pays a transit fee to UKR for the pipeline, but Zelensky apparently doesn’t like it and has threatened to shut it off - with no replacement option.
--Slovakia has, in turn, threatened to shut off the power they send to UKR if Zelensky doesn’t demur and back off.

-The UK 10 year Gilt (their version of Treasuries) hit the highest level since 2008 at 4.632% according to @MacroEdgeRes

--Similarly, the snap election petition for no confidence in UK PM Starmer passed 3mm signatures this week.

-The Brazilian 1-year bond has reached 15.40% now, according to @DonMiami3
--As Don points out, Lula was the first to force rates lower, and many Western nations followed (and who are now each facing a sovereign debt crisis).
--Related, as @MikeBenzCyber has pointed out, The Blob went hard in “bringing Democracy” to Brazil via their support (and censorship in favor of the) unrepentant progressive Lula.

Societal/legal/culture war
-Texas AG Ken Paxton has filed suit against the NCAA for what he calls its “misleading” transgender policy.
--Reminder: John Cornyn and Bush-RINOs in Texas tried to get rid of Paxton, who is one of a very small number of AGs that have done anything to push back against Biden’s handlers.

Crazy Conspiracy:
The drone craziness surrounding New Jersey all but disappeared during Christmas - when USGOV employees are all on holiday leave.

I think that one is pretty self-explanatory.

Macro takeaways/lessons from the week:
-The glorified librarians at NARA hiding the evidence of “The Big Guy” Biden helping his son’s China business deals just shows that even the nerds of the USGOV have been weaponized. Between them, BLS, and many other agencies, there is a lot of house cleaning to do.

-After 4 years of being fed propaganda about the success of Bidenomics, new data shows homelessness has risen by more than 18% in the past year. Not a sign of the “strong and robust” economy that they told you was all around you but you were too stupid to see.

-Between the vaccines and the Green Grift, there are quite a few “sacred cows” being opened up for all of the world to see. “If it can be killed by the truth, then it deserves to die.”
White pill(s) for the week:
Mr. Wonderful offering to broker a deal with Ms. Trudeau, UK’s Starmer doesn’t seem long for office, nor does Germany’s Pirate Sholz, nor does France’s Macron, and we’re building ice breakers again whilst oil co’s and finance bros are backing away from the Green Grift.

Nature is healing, and we’re back, baby. The sickness seems to be ending.

Weekend Meditation:
“Declare the past, diagnose the present, foretell the future.”
-Hippocrates

Or, as I’ve often said in the long-form posts & podcasts:
“To know where you’re going, you must know where you are. To know where you are, you must know where you’ve been.”

Simply understanding the “backstory” and history as a foundation to see potential knock-on effects seems like the uninformed to seeing the future - but it’s simply knowing how things work.
