St Patrick’s day is March 17th, and most people don’t know this, but the real Patrick had nothing to do with the Catholic pagan Church of Rome. In fact, Patrick was Baptist in faith and practice, and preached the same biblical gospel that we believe today.

Patrick wrote,

A Baptist position on the denominations.

Independent Fundamental Baptist [IFB] is not a denomination, it’s more of a label. Denominations contain an organization of various assemblies and man-made hierarchy. IFB churches are independent (it’s in the name!) and therefore not a denomination.

“They professed to be the true Church, because they followed Christ, and patterned after the Apostles; they sought no secular gain or earthly property, but were the poor in Christ, while the Roman Church made itself rich.
