Do you pursue the temporary amusements of this world, and then expect paradise in return? The same paradise that Bilal, Ammar and Sumayyah went to?

He will say, "Oh, I wish I had sent ahead [some good] for my life."
Ibn Kathīr رحمه الله states:
“If he was an obedient person, he will wish that he performed more acts of obedience.”
——
“And whoever raced ahead in this
dunyā towards virtuous deeds, then he has raced in the Hereafter towards the Gardens of Paradise.”

Awesome Morning Evening Dua
O Allah, verily I have reached the morning and call on You, the bearers of Your throne, Your angels, and all of Your creation to witness that You are Allah, none has the right to be worshipped except You, alone, without partner and that Muhammad is Your Servant and Messenger. (Four times in the morning and evening.)
Note: for the evening, one reads (amsaytu) instead of (asbahtu).

Ibn Hibban said:
“The Prophet rebuked the one who does not accept gifts among Muslims.
If a person’s offered a gift, he must accept it and not refuse it, then he should reciprocate if he’s able to, and express gratitude for it.”

In Al-Nasā'ī (Amal al-yawm wa l-layl 1/619) narration from Abū Hūrairah رضي الله عنه alone, [who attributed it to Prophet ﷺ and said]:
Whoever says:

Lā 'ilāha 'illallāhu lahu ‘l-mulku walahu ‘l-ḥamd
Lā 'ilāha 'illallāhu wa lā ḥaula wa lā quwwata 'illā billāh
-he counted them as five on his fingers - and then said:
"Whoever says them during a day or during a night or in a month and then dies on that day or that night or that month, will have his sins forgiven."

Sending ṣalāh upon the Prophet ﷺ on Friday is better than on the rest of the days, and its night (Thursday night) is the best of nights. He ﷺ said, “Among the best of your days is Friday, so frequently send ṣalāh upon me therein.”

10 causes that remove punishment for a sin by ibn Taymiyyah
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy on him, said:
The punishment for a sin committed by a believer is removed in ten ways:
1. He repents to Allah (taubah), so Allah accepts his repentance, for the one who repents from sin is like the one who has no sin.
2. He seeks forgiveness from Allah (istighfar), so Allah forgives him.
3. He does good deeds that erase his sin for good deeds erase bad ones.
4. His believing brethren pray for him or seek forgiveness for his sins during his life or death.
5. Or they [ask Allah] to bestow on him as gift from the reward for their deeds, with which Allah benefits him.
6. His Prophet Muhammad, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, intercedes for him.
7. Allah tests him with trials in this world which expiate his sin.
8. Allah tests him in al-Barzakh (the intermediate life in the grave, between the death and the Day of Judgment) which expiates his sin.
9. Allah tests him in the various stages of the Day of Judgment which expiates his sins.
10. Or the Most Merciful of those who have mercy has mercy on him.
Whoever, then, is missed by these ten cannot blame anyone but himself.

Ibn Abbas reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days." The people asked, "O Messenger of Allah, not even Jihad in the way of Allah?" He replied, "Not even Jihad in the way of Allah, except for a person who goes out with his life and wealth and does not return with anything."
