- تَجاوز أنت لَم تُخلق لتُركن جانبًا.
Exceed You weren't created to be pushed aside.

- لقد كنت عابرًا، فما الذي أبقاك بي.
you were wayfarer , so what kept you with me.

- ‏روحي هادئة مثل معزوفة لم يستمع إليها أحد.
My soul is as quiet as a song no one listens to.

- ‏وأدركتُ أن كل ما عليّ فعله هو التجاوز.
I realized that all I had to do was overtake.

- لا تأتِ متَأخرًا باحثًا عن ذاتِ المكان.
Don't come late looking for the same place.

- تقاس الأشياء بمدى تأثيرها لا بهيئتها.
Things are measured by their effect, not by their appearance.

- ‏كونوا ملاذَ اللُطف، العالم سيءٌ بِما يكفي.
Be the sanctuary of kindness, the world is bad enough.

- علينا أن نؤمن بالنهاية وأن ننسى ثم نمضي قدمًا.
We have to believe in the end, to forget, and then to move on.

- اقف مع الجميعِ و اسقط وحدي.
I stand with everyone and fall alone.

- لا شيء يمضي نحن نعتاد فقط.
Nothing goes, we just get used to it.

- ثمّ يُصبح الأمر عاديًا، وتنام بجوار حزنك.
Then it becomes normal, and you sleep next to your sadness.

- ‏ما أصعب أن يواسي الإنسان نفسه.
How difficult it is for a person to console himself.

- ‏وتَهوى الانعزال، وتَخشى أن تَبقى وَحيدًا.
And you love solitude, and you're afraid to be alone.

- من الصعب أن تنام بقلب مثقل.
it's hard to sleep with a heavy heart.
