💥💥 استفاده از دو گرامر كاربردى Either / or و neither / nor :

Either / or
به معناى : .... يا .... ميباشد.
در جملاتى كه بار معنايىِ مثبت دارند استفاده ميشود و وقتى به يك انتخاب بين دو امكان اشاره ميكنيم:

📌We can either eat now or after the movie- it's up to you.
ما ميتوانيم يا الان بخوريم يا بعد از فيلم- به تو بستگي دارد.

Neither / nor
به معناى : نه ... نه... است.
در جملاتى كه بار معنايى منفى دارند استفاده ميشود و وقتى ميخواهيم بگوييم دو يا چند چيز اشتباه اند:

📌Neither my mother nor my father went to university.
نه مادرم به دانشگاه رفت نه پدرم.

💡در به كار بردن فعل جمع يا مفرد در اين گرامر توجه داشته باشيد:

👈🏻اگر هر دو فاعل مفرد باشند، فعل هم به صورت مفرد مى ايد:

📌Either the father or the mother has to attend the meeting.
(هم پدر هم مادر مفرد اند)

📌Neither Sarah nor George is going to write the report.
(جورج و سارا مفرد اند پس فعل هم مفرد امده است)

👈🏻ولى اگر حتى يكى از دو فاعل جمع باشد، فعل هم به صورت جمع مى ايد:

📌Neither the teacher nor the students were in the classroom this morning.
(دانش اموزان اسم جمع است پس فعل هم جمع استفاده شده )
