روشهای خواندن اعداد در زبان انگلیسی :

The ways of counting.

سالهای 2000 و بعد:

2000 – two thousand

2001 – two thousand (and) one

2009 – two thousand (and) nine

2010 – two thousand (and) ten

2015 – two thousand (and) fifteen

2016 – two thousand (and) sixteen

سال های قبل از 2000 :
اگر دو رقم آخر سال صفر بود معمولا آن سال با hundred بیان می شود. به چند مثال توجه کنید:

1900 – nineteen hundred

1800 – eighteen hundred

1700 – seventeen hundred

1600 – sixteen hundred

1500 – fifteen hundred

اگر فقط رقم سوم یک سال چهار رقمی صفر باشد دو رقم اول با هم و دو رقم آخر هم به صورت جداگانه خوانده می شوند (خود صفر هم باید حتما خوانده شود):

1807 – eighteen oh seven

1902 – nineteen oh two

1705 – seventeen oh five

1306 – thirteen oh six

برای خواندن این دسته از سال ها (مواردی که رقم سوم آنها صفر است) می توان از روش قبلی (با hundred) هم استفاده کرد ولی روش بدون استفاده از hundred رایج تر است. به یک مثال در این خصوص توجه کنید:

1807 – eighteen hundred and seven

اگر هیچ کدام از رقم های سال صفر نبود آنها را دو به دو می خونیم:

1987 – nineteen eighty seven

1741 – seventeen forty one

1311 – thirteen eleven

1654 – sixteen fifty four

1218 – twelve eighteen

📕📘Most, the most, mostly..

Most..

📘We use Most for the quantifier it talks about quantities, amounts and degree.
📕We can use it with a noun (as a determiner) or without a noun (as a pronoun).
📘We can also use it with adjectives and adverbs to form the superlative.
Most with a noun..
📕We use most with nouns to 📘mean ‘the majority of’:
She plays tennis most mornings.
📘When we are talking about the majority of a specific set of something, we use most of the + noun.
Most desserts are sweet.
📕Desserts in general..
The food at the party was delicious.
He’d made most of the desserts himself.
📕📘When we use most before articles (a/an, the), demonstratives (this, that), possessives (my, your) or pronouns (him, them), we need of:
Most of the information was useful. Some of it wasn’t relevant.

@LearnbyEnglishlearners

📕📘The most..

📕The most is the superlative form of many, much. We use the most with different classes of words.
📕The most with adjectives and adverbs.
We use the most to make the superlative forms of longer adjectives and the majority of adverbs:
They’re using the most advanced technology in the world. (+ adjective)
📕We use the most with a noun to mean ‘more/less than all of the others’:
