अर्मेनिया अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सौर गठबंधन में 104वें पूर्ण सदस्य के रूप में शामिल हुआ

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सौर गठबंधन [ISA] का 7वां सत्र [केंद्रीय नवीन और नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा मंत्री प्रह्लाद जोशी द्वारा उद्घाटन] 4 से 7 नवंबर, 2024 के बीच नई दिल्ली के भारत मंडपम में आयोजित किया गया। इस सत्र में 2024 से 2026 तक 2 साल की अवधि के लिए भारत को अध्यक्ष और फ्रांस को सह-अध्यक्ष चुना गया था।
भारत के आशीष खन्ना 4 साल [2024-28] के कार्यकाल के लिए ISA के तीसरे महानिदेशक के रूप में चुने गए।

ISA : इसकी संकल्पना Nov 2015  में पेरिस में COP 21 के दौरान की गई। 6 Dec 2017 को 15 देशों द्वारा ISA फ्रेमवर्क समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर और अनुमोदन के साथ, ISA भारत में मुख्यालय [Gurugram, Haryana]
वाला पहला अंतरराष्ट्रीय अंतर-सरकारी संगठन बन गया और पहला संस्थापक सम्मेलन 11 मार्च 2018 को हुआ
ISA सदस्यों के 4 क्षेत्रीय समूहों में अफ्रीका, एशिया-प्रशांत, यूरोप और अन्य, तथा लैटिन अमेरिका-कैरिबियन शामिल हैं। इन मे से रोटेशन के आधार पर वरिष्ठता क्रम में स्थायी समिति के 8 उपाध्यक्ष ISA के 4 भौगोलिक क्षेत्रों में से प्रत्येक से 2-2 देश चुने जाते हैं।
