Israeli forces are storming seven cities in southern Syria at once: al-Qunaytra, Ruihinah, Umm Batna, Jubata al-Khashab, Turnedja, al-Hamidiyah and Ufaniyah.

The offensive comes just days after UN peacekeeping forces arrived in southern Syria following the partial withdrawal of Israeli troops.
