Romans 1:1: "Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God”

How much of your life do you give in service to the Lord and to sharing the gospel with as many people as possible?

πŸ’‘ You’ll never miss out by giving more to God.

2 Corinthians 9:15: "Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift."

In a chapter about giving, we are reminded of the amazing gift of salvation that we have received, and so should give freely to our church and others in need.

Study notes: 2 Corinthians 9

Romans 7:1-6: "Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter."

Do you follow the old law or do you follow Christ? As is made clear here, it can only be one or the other!

The Mosaic Law was never even given to gentiles, and as believers we are to follow the example of Christ and are led by the Spirit!

You have to literally skip over entire chapters of the New Testament to think that believers are under the Law.

2 Corinthians 3:7-11: "But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. For if THAT WHICH IS DONE AWAY was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious."

Galatians 5:18, "But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law."

It’s one or the other! Do you follow Christ or do you follow the Law which was given to point to Christ?

Reject illiterate judaizers larping as baptists who want to bring you back under the law. Christ FULFILLED it!

1 Corinthians 9:20 α΄·α΄Άβ±½
²⁰ And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law.

Great verse to show Christians we are not under the law.
If Paul was already under the law, he wouldn’t have to become as those that are under the law in order to convert them.
