Activist Annie Lennox describes the current ceasefire in Gaza as fragile, insisting on the power of solidarity, the urgent need to rebuild Gaza.

Annie says: "Gaza doesn’t need pity, but our solidarity. The ceasefire  is fragile. It won’t return 17,000 families, surviving children their families. Pity won’t stop Israel’s illegal occupation and blockade, nor  will it rebuild a destroyed healthcare system in Gaza."
After the Israeli occupation forces withdrew from parts of Rafah, Rafah Municipality teams are reopening the Salah al-Din Street and clearing rubble to facilitate the entry of aid trucks into Gaza.
