T U D No more imported priests No more imported third worlders No more homosexuals As soon as Rome starts to really feel the pressure they will open up Latin Mass across the world. https://www.ncronline.org/news/exclusive-catholic-relief-services-lays…
Interesting Personal Note regarding this.

At my chapel we have had a small influx of families joining our congregation specifically because of a foreign priest (Nigerian). Not necessarily because they were foreign, but because they were espousing heresy from the altar. One of Frank's favorites, "that all religions lead to God." They did the right thing for their family and their children to seek out the Mass of All Time.
There are recent stories of Prawn Stars who lament their former lives and have "seemingly" reformed due to their past misconduct. I wish them well, as the wiles of world and the devil will try to reproach them that such a path is near impossible because of their past sins.

We also live in an age, where people are "pragmatic" in regards to how the approach sin. They'll argue, from a phenomenological viewpoint (hi JPII), that one must come to understand sin, to the point where they seemingly "must" fall into that error themselves; in which it will help them conform to a life of holiness.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

The truth is that one must avoid sin at all costs, for that one sin could be your last, and could be the one that sends you to Hell.

St Ambrose, the great Bishop of Milan, who is the most eloquent and persuasive of all the Fathers on the subject of holy Virginity. We read, that in the Cities, where Ambrose preached, Mothers were afraid of their daughters being present at his Sermons, lest he should persuade them to such love of Christ, as to choose the better part.

(Link to all three of his books on the subject. Book 1 contains an excellent section on St Agnes)

We all fight a spiritual battle every day, in even the most mundane of our tasks. Beware when things go too well! "God chastiseth whom he loveth". Obstacles and challenges are a sign He is pleased, and is testing you more. We should always strive to meet all the tests and the obstacles, and pray fervently for challenges to meet and better ourselves.

"Obstacles do not exist to bring us to surrender, but to be overcome."

How can we not recognize all of this today in the Catholic Church? God's society with angels and men who resemble Him; a society whose sovereign monarch is God, His Christ, the Holy One par excellence; whose law is nothing other than divine reason, the eternal wisdom that created the universe and governs it, reaching from one end to the other with strength, and arranging everything with gentleness: true law, not enslaved to inflexible formulas, not buried in dead writing, but living and reigning through the word; a law that is one, holy, universal and perpetual, which unites all places and all times, and heaven and earth, in a society that is one, holy, universal and perpetual, under Almighty God
