🇺🇸⚠️ NEW: In newly released bodycam footage from October 26, 22-year-old Sidi Mohamed Abdallahi shot a Jewish man while shouting "Allahu Akbar" before firing at police in Chicago. Abdallahi, who entered the country during the Biden administration, is now facing terrorism and hate crime charges for the attack.

The Center for Immigration Studies reported that Abdallahi was encountered by Border Patrol on March 31, 2023. He was apprehended and later released under Biden administration policies.

According to CBS, Abdallahi allegedly targeted a 39-year-old man walking to a synagogue, shooting him in the shoulder. When emergency responders arrived, Abdallahi reportedly opened fire on them, striking an ambulance.

Chicago police officers engaged Abdallahi, hitting him multiple times before he was taken to a hospital.

Abdallahi has been charged with six counts of attempted first-degree murder, seven counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm, and aggravated battery. Additional charges of hate crime and terrorism were added after it was revealed he targeted the victim because of his Jewish faith.
