🇺🇸❌💥 A U.S. Navy F/A-18F "Super Hornet" from the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) was accidentally shot down by the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Gettysburg (CG-64).

Both pilots successfully ejected over the water and have been rescued. One of the pilots sustained minor injuries in the incident.

The Australian is named Oscar Jenkins, a 32-year-old from Melbourne, Victoria. Jenkins previously spent nine years in China, where he worked as a marketing consultant and a biology instructor at a university in Tianjin.

Jenkins is a committed vegan activist. A year ago, Jenkins expressed ambitions to promote veganism across China, a mission he later abandoned.

Subsequently, he joined the International Legion in Ukraine and settled down in Kramatorsk, as mentioned in the footage.
