Mini App Store. The 'Apps' tab in Search shows a list of apps you use and popular mini apps – to discover new games, services and more.

Featured mini apps display their number of monthly active users and developers can add video demos and screenshots to their app's profile.

Sharing Mini Apps to Stories. Mini apps can generate custom content for users to share as a story directly from the mini app.

Gifting Telegram Stars. Telegram Stars can be purchased for your contacts – sending them a gift to spend in their favorite mini apps and channels.

Weather Widget in Stories. You can share the weather in your stories – with an animated widget that automatically converts temperature and shows moon phases at night.

More widgets can be found in the 'Stickers' section of the story editor – to add music, links, locations and more.

Story Covers. When posting a video story to your profile, you can choose which frame to use as its cover photo.

The My Profile section in Settings allows you to pin 3 stories to your profile, add past stories from your archive – and manage their privacy settings.

Star Subscriptions. Content creators can make special invite links that allow users to join a channel for a monthly payment in Telegram Stars.

This lets content creators make exclusive channels with extra content or special perks – in addition to any free or public channels they may already have.

Paid Media for Bots. Bots are able to send paid media – to support their services and automate businesses.

Unlocking a post with Stars gives you lifetime access to its content via Settings > My Stars.

Super Channels. Channel owners can make their feed look more like a group – letting admins post as their own profiles or other channels.

This allows multiple authors to personalize their posts – or combine communities from several content creators.

Admins in Super Channels are still anonymous – they are never visible unless they explicitly choose to post with their own profile.

To enable this functionality, go to Channel Settings > Administrators, turn on Sign Messages and Show Authors' Profiles.

Document Viewer on iOS. On iOS, common file formats like .pdf, .xls and .docx are opened in separate tabs of the Telegram Browser.

This lets you easily reference documents while you chat – without losing your place.

Star Giveaways. Giveaways in groups and channels support Telegram Stars – which winners can spend on paid media, subscriptions and mini apps.

Communities that host giveaways receive boosts in return, allowing them to unlock perks like posting stories.

Channel owners can start a giveaway via Channel Settings > Statistics > Boosts. For groups, go to Group Info > Statistics > Boosts.

Verification Platform. Any business, app or website can use Telegram to send verification codes to their users – for just $0.01 per message.

Users receive verification codes for other apps in a special chat called 'Verification Codes' – where they can copy the code in one tap.

Detailed User Reports. If you come across a message that violates Telegram's Terms of Service, you can quickly report it to our moderators from any Telegram app.

To report a message, tap on Android, hold on iOS or right-click on Desktop and Web.

The reporting menu has detailed options for every category – improving reports for moderators and helping scale Telegram's AI moderation tools.

Optimized Videos in Channels. In large channels, Telegram optimizes videos when they are posted – offering subscribers multiple quality settings for the video.

This allows channel owners to post videos in better quality – without impacting subscribers on weaker connections.

Add Media to Sent Messages. Messages sent without an attachment can be edited to add media and files – from any of your devices.

You can also edit sent media to re-edit photos or replace media in a message.
