My dad had saved a branch when pruning his Chinese Toon tree a couple years back, with the intention of carving it and creating a walking stick.
Unfortunately his hands have lost the dexterity required for carving but after seeing me take up the chisel he eagerly asked me to create something for him.
I traced the stick and sketched up a few different animal heads to see what would fit well, given my father is quite the English gent, a badger seemed perfect!
He was overjoyed with the result and when he moved back to England recently, it went with him!

While the majority of my carvings are heathen or nature related, I was inspired to create an icon of St Edmund for a good friend as a present for Yule 2024.
This was my second ever relief carving and I admit, I struggled and almost gave up a couple times!
But I persevered and am reasonably happy with the result.
It makes me very happy knowing this piece now resides in England, given he is the Patreon Saint of England! 🏴

A little wolf for my son (whose middle name is Varg and he is absolutely my wild little wolf cub!)
Not carving related but I was honoured to be part of this project recently. I highly recommend you check it out!

There’s a project by Wotan Network where many Folkish Women are reading “Asatru: A Native European Spirituality” by Steve McNallen chapter by chapter on that channel.
Very positive to see our women jumping in their own ways.

Êostre
This has been my favourite goddess to create to date.
Spring is absolutely my favourite time of year and Êostre obviously embodies it.
I carved her as Spring was blooming around me a few months back and finished her just in time for a rite at the Spring Equinox.
