Most and least favourite storylines?

my favorite storyline is Klaus coming to town and the introduction of the Originals. Everything felt a bit more low stakes then, the Originals were fantastic and the casting was perfect. And the storyline has an amazing mix of romance, supernatural thrills and action


Least favourite is hard to define because it’s basically the whole of seasons 7-8 lol. But if I had to pick one it would be Damon and Enzo’s killing spree for Sybil. I just hated the super violent nature of them hooking people to death. I found it a bit disturbing. And I hated how they were ripped away from their friends, especially how Bonnie lost Enzo right as they were happy.

Kol being killed by Jeremy and Elena was horrible writing this also includes how non of his siblings enacted any sort of revenge especially klaus or Rebekah

maybe i’m in a bad mood

but season 6 episode 11 or 12, caroline is desperate to heal her mums cancer(rightfully so) so she experiments on that man in the hospital by giving him her blood, and he showed positive results which ended up being bad later on. anyway, stefan discussing it with Elena who’s been a medical student for 5 fkn minutes gets all judgy about their decision. as if she hasn’t done some whack ass risky bullshit to try and save literally any of her friends and family? but then later on in episode 12 she literally enlists Kai(!?) to get the vamp blood magic out of caroline’s mum and it nearly kills her??? like be so fkn for real girl. but THEN! when Liz all of a sudden comes back to life, elena walks out and carries on about how “caroline’s mum nearly died in my arms!!!??” and kisses damon making it all about herself. why was no one mad at her for that??

also Kai is the literal worst and i don’t know why they have so many scenes of him eating and the sounds being so amplified 😂

anyway, im not an elena hater but i just really was feeling the rage for her on this rewatch in later seasons 🥲
