Ibn Taymiyah once wrote:

The best place to live for each individual is the place where he can be the most obedient to Allah and His Messenger, and this differs according to circumstances.

There is not one specific land that is the best place for each person to live. Rather, what is best for each person depends on where he will be able to exercise taqwa, obedience, khushu’, submission & focused worship.

Abu al-Darda’ once wrote to Salman, “Come to the Holy Land,” so Salman wrote, “The land doesn’t sanctify anyone; rather it is one’s deeds that sanctify him.”

*Update (1/17/2025):*

My wife received the blood transfusions and is currently recovering.

May Allah bless and reward every blood donor who came through, none of whom I've ever met before. They selflessly dedicated their entire day and traveled far and wide to offer the most precious gift to save the life of a complete stranger.

It says in the Quran,
"...and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind..." (5:32)

May Allah also reward every single person who reached out, were willing to come, made dua, shared the post, helped to find donors, helped in any way, and just simply cared. Your messages touched the heart and only strengthen us further. Always spread kind words to others; it is priceless.

Wallahi, as a revert and a foreigner living here, I did not expect this much response and love.

But Allah continues to show me the blessing of Islam, and that this religion is truly unique and beautiful. Allah tells us in Quran that it is our faith that unites us: making complete strangers true brothers and sisters. When you meet a muslim, and exchange the islamic greeting, you feel safe and a sense of genuine care and concern. This cannot be found anywhere else on this earth. Alhamdulillah.

Also, Islam teaches us patience, showing that daily challenges are opportunities to build character and draw closer to our Creator. Without Islam, many would undoubtedly struggle to face adversity and turn to vices to escape their sorrows.

I urge everyone to learn more about true Islam with an open heart and mind, while seeking guidance from the only Creator. You will discover real peace and nothing more sweet and comforting for your soul.

All praises are due to the Almighty.

If you want to learn more about Islam, here is my number on whatsapp: +966544162996

May Allah guide us all, cure all of the Muslims, and relieve their suffering and worries.

Your brother,
✍️ Abu Awzaa'ee Abdus-Salaam

The Greatest Tawheed is Tawheed Al-Ibadah!

Sh.Sulayman Al-Ruhayli
The Complete Deen

Shaykh ul-Islaam Ibn Taymeeyah [D. 728 A.H.] [رحمه الله] said:

❝The Deen will not be complete except by knowing the Prophetic Ahadeeth & Salafi Aathaar [narrations] according to what the Prophet & the Companions intended from the religious meanings, as were the scholars of the Salaf.❞

[Jamia Al-Masail, (5/41)]
🍃Do you do your athkaar?🍃

Sheikh Uthaymeen رحمه الله said:

"I do not consider it far fetched that from the means of frequent possessions by the jinn - in our current time- are being heedless from remembering Allah in the time of the remembrance."(1)

[Atta'leeq 'Ala saheeh muslim 2/296]

Abu Hurairah (May Allāh be pleased with him) reported:

The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said:

((الدنيا ملعونة ملعون ما فيها إلا ذكر الله تعالى، وما والاه، وعالمًا أو متعلمًا‏))

"The world, with all that it contains, is accursed except for the remembrance of Allāh, that which pleases Allāh; and the religious scholars and seekers of knowledge."

and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know.

Al-Baqarah, Ayah 216
💎 The Value of Time - Benefits taken from the AMAU Student of Knowledge Program - with Ustadh Muhammad Tim Humble

If knowledge is the most honourable goal and your life withers like ice that melts, then real intellect is making good use of your time in it, and fearing that it will be spent without benefit, and asking about the Day of Resurrection (may Allah keep me and you in a state of extreme caution if it!)

Ibn al-Jawzī رحمه الله said in Sayd al-Khāťir:

"It is befitting for a person to know the honour of his lifespan and the value of his time, so he does not waste even a moment of it without doing an act of worship, and he puts forward the best of speech and action."

Because of this, the scholars gave great importance to time, such that Muhammad ibn Abdul-Baqi al-Bazzār رحمه الله said:

"I have not wasted even an hour of my time with amusement or play."

Abul-Wafā ibn Aqeel رحمه الله - the one who authored 'al-Fanoon' in 800 volumes said:

"It is not allowed for me to waste an hour of my life."

The situation reached to such an extent with them that they would be read to while they were eating as Ahmad ibn Sulayman al-Bulqāsī, -who died at the age of twenty- eight - used to have the different recitations of the Qur'an read to him while he was eating, out of a fear of wasting time with something else. His companions used to read to him while he was taking his food and drink.

More than that, they even used to be read to while they would be in the area of the land for relieving themselves!

The elder Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله use to go to the area of land for relieving himself and he would say to those around him: "Read from this book, and raise your voice." (so that he could hear them from the distance).

This attention to protecting time that these people رحمهم الله had becomes clear in that they reached such milestones as human civilization altogether had never reached.
