{ أَلَا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ }

How could He who created not know His own creation, when He is the Most Subtle, the All Aware?

{ لَا يَسْخَرْ قَوْمٌ مِنْ قَوْمٍ عَسَىٰ أَنْ يَكُونُوا خَيْرًا مِنْهُمْ }

no one group of men should jeer at another, who may after all be better than them

وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ

But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it].

﴿ رَّبُّكُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا فِي نُفُوسِكُمْ إِن تَكُونُواْ صَالِحِينَ فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ لِلأَوَّابِينَ غَفُورًا ﴾

Your Lord is most knowing of what is within yourselves. If you should be righteous [in intention] - then indeed He is ever, to the often returning[to Him], Forgiving

قُلْ سِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۚ كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُشْرِكِينَ

Say, “Roam the earth, and observe the fate of those who came before. Most of them were idolaters.”

وَإِلَى السَّمَاءِ كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ

And at the sky - how it is raised?

فَاصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ ۖ

So be patient. The promise of Allah is true.

بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا * وَالْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰ

But you prefer the worldly life,While the Hereafter is better and more enduring.

خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۖ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقًّا ۚ

Dwelling therein forever. The promise of Allah is true.

﴿ فَاسْتَجَابَ لَهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ ﴾

And their Lord responded to them

إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ

Allah is the Rich, the Praised.

﴿ لَا تَخَفْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ ۖ إِنَّا مُنَجُّوكَ ﴾

Fear not, nor grieve. Indeed, we will save you

فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُمْ بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ

Therefore, do not let this life deceive you, nor let illusions deceive you regarding Allah.

فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَاهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ

And We have made (this Scripture) easy in thy language only that they may heed.

إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا

Indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted

﴿ قُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ﴾

Say, [O Muhammad], "Praise be to Allah

﴿ لَولا تَستَغفِرونَ اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُم تُرحَمونَ ﴾

Why do you not seek forgiveness of Allah that you may receive mercy?

مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنِّي مَالِيَهْ

My wealth has not availed me.
