في مستهل اليوم الثاني من جولتنا في محافظة النجف الأشرف، كانت لنا وقفة مع فرقة الإمام علي (عليه السلام) القتالية حيث التقينا الضباط والمراتب والمنتسبين، وأعربنا عن فخرنا واعتزازنا بما قدمته هذه الفرقة من شهداء دفاعاً عن الإسلام والعراق.
▫️أشدنا بدور الفرقة في استتباب الأمن في محافظة النجف الأشرف، على الرغم من أن الناس لا ترى هذه الجهود بسبب مناطق تواجد الفرقة البعيدة، وذكّرنا بدور فتوى الجهاد الدفاعي في استعادة المبادرة تجاه الإرهاب، رغم تنصل دول عن حماية العراق ولديه معها اتفاقات أمنية مكتوبة وموقعة وتنصل آخر من تسليم السلاح للعراق الموقع بعقود رسمية.
▫️بيّنا أن الفتوى دفعت آلاف الشباب لسوح الجهاد وكسرت حاجز الخوف وغيرت كل التوازنات، وبعثرت تخادم البعث مع الإرهاب، وكانت مقدمة لتشكيل هيئة الحشد الشعبي الرافد الحقيقي للدفاع عن أمن العراق.
▫️أشدنا أيضا بموقف الجمهورية الإسلامية في إيران الداعم للعراق في مواجهة داعش، ومن ثم بدأ العد التصاعدي لاستعادة الأرض وتحريرها، وحمّلنا الفرقة قادة ومراتب مسؤولية حماية العنوان الذي تنتسب إليه ومعرفة قيمته ومكانته.
On the second day of our tour in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Governorate, we visited the Imam Ali Combat Division and met with its officers, soldiers, and members. We expressed our great pride in the sacrifices made by the division, particularly honoring those who gave their lives defending Islam and Iraq.

▫️We praised the division’s role in maintaining security within Najaf, acknowledging that, despite their efforts often going unseen due to their distant deployment areas, their contributions are invaluable. We emphasized the significance of the defensive jihad fatwa, which allowed Iraq to regain the upper hand against terrorism, especially at a time when some nations failed to honor their security agreements with Iraq and withheld arms despite signed contracts.
▫️We emphasized that the fatwa inspired thousands of young people to join the front lines, shattering the barrier of fear and altering the balance of power. It disrupted the alliance between remnants of the Baath regime and terrorists, laying the groundwork for the establishment of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), which became a key pillar in safeguarding Iraq’s security.
▫️We also acknowledged the steadfast support of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which stood by Iraq in the fight against ISIS, marking the start of a successful campaign to reclaim and liberate Iraqi territories. We urged the division’s leadership and members to honor the legacy they represent and to fully appreciate the significance of the role they play.

بحضور مدير صحة النجف الأشرف، زرنا مستشفى النجف الأشرف التعليمي، تفقدنا بعض الراقدين في المستشفى والتقينا ملاكات المستشفى من أطباء وممرضين وكادر إداري، وأشدنا بالجهود التي تقدمها المستشفى، وأبدينا سعادتنا بالواقع الإداري في المستشفى وتوظيف الخبرات الخارجية في ذلك، وتمنينا من الشركة الإيطالية القائمة على إدارة المستشفى إنجاح هذه التجربة وتوسيعها لباقي المستشفيات، وقلنا إن الخبرات الفنية موجودة، لكنها تحتاج إلى منظومات إدارية ساندة للخدمة الطبية.
أكدنا أهمية الخدمة الطبية باعتبارها جزءاً مهماً من احتياجات المواطن اليومية، وبيّنا أهمية تجربة الإدارة مع شركات أجنبية، وضرورة رفع سقف الطموح، وأن تكون مستشفيات العراق بموازاة المستشفيات في دول المنطقة والعالم، وتمنينا أن يكون القطاع الصحي واعداً ومتطوراً في تقديم الخدمات، كما أشدنا بالواقع الصحي في النجف الأشرف؛ مما جعلها قبلة لباقي المحافظات.
Accompanied by the Director of Health in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf, we visited Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Teaching Hospital, where we checked on some of the patients and met with the medical staff, including doctors, nurses, and administrators. We praised the hospital's ongoing efforts, expressing satisfaction with its administrative practices, especially the incorporation of international expertise. We encouraged the Italian company managing the hospital to ensure the success of this model and consider expanding it to other hospitals. We noted that while there is ample technical expertise, it requires robust administrative systems to fully support medical services.
We underscored the vital role of healthcare as a key component of citizens’ daily needs and emphasized the value of partnering with foreign companies to manage hospitals. We called for raising our ambitions to elevate Iraqi hospitals to the level of those in the region and globally. We expressed our hopes for a promising and modernized healthcare sector that excels in service delivery. Additionally, we commended the health sector in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf, which has turned it into a destination for patients from other provinces.
