معاون امور جنگل سازمان منابع‌طبیعی و آبخیزداری: تدوین طرح مدیریت پایدار جنگل‌های شمال پنج سال طول می‌کشد به گفته معاون امور جنگل سازمان منابع‌طبیعی و آبخیزداری تدوین طرح مدیریت پایدار (طرح جایگزین) جنگل‌های شمال در صورت استفاده از تمام پتانسیل‌ها، پنج سال به طول خواهد انجامید. بر اساس تخمین شعبانیان، درآمدهای حاصل از طرح‌های غیرچوبی جنگل‌های شمال کشور می‌تواند پاسخگوی هزینه‌های ابتدایی حمایت و حفاظت از جنگل‌های کشور باشد اما دولت حتما باید برای حفاظت از این جنگل‌ها به سازمان منابع‌طبیعی کمک کند.
