يقول: أيحب أحدكم أن يعيش في الضلالة والمعاصي حتى يأتيه الموت، فيجيء يوم القيامة قد ضل عنه عمله أحوج ما كان إليه؟ فيقول ابن آدم: أتيتني أحوج ما كنت قط إلى خير، فأين ما قدمت لنفسك؟
