を tells us what the direct object of a sentence is. In other words, it marks the thing that gets affected by the verb.

NOUN + を
Particle を can appear after nouns to make them the object of the sentence.

Example:
1) かなえはボールを打った。
Kanae hit the ball.
2) まちこは梅酒を作った。
Machiko made plum wine
