American Defense Minister Lloyd Austin spoke tonight with Israel’s Defense Minister Galant and issued a statement supporting the IDF's ground operation in southern Lebanon: "We agreed on the need to dismantle attack infrastructure along the border, to ensure that Hezbollah cannot carry out October 7-style attacks on Israel's northern settlements."

“for the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.”

(Deuteronomy 20:4)
Damascus tonight was under attack.
According to the reports, the attack in the Al-Maz area thwarted a meeting between Hezbollah command and officers from the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.
An important announcement from the White House: The IDF’s targeted actions in Lebanon are part of its right to defend itself.

“We understand that the Israelis will carry out limited actions to destroy Hezbollah infrastructure that could threaten Israeli citizens. This is within Israel’s right to protect its citizens and to allow them to return safely to their homes. We support Israel’s right to defend itself against Hezbollah and other Iranian affiliates."
After the October 7th massacre in the settlements surrounding Gaza, Israel must change its security concept and adopt a new concept in order to protect the settlements on the border of the Gaza Strip and the border of Lebanon.
There is no escaping the establishment of permanent buffer zones or security strips in southern Lebanon and the northern Gaza Strip.

IDF: The IDF conducted precise strikes on weapons manufacturing sites and infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah in Dahieh in Beirut

Yesterday (Monday), with the direction of IDF intelligence, the IAF conducted precise strikes on several weapons manufacturing facilities and additional Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in the Dahieh area of Beirut.

Prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians, including by issuing warnings to civilians in the area, the use of precise munitions, and aerial surveillance.

The Hezbollah terrorist organization intentionally embeds its weapons manufacturing facilities and weaponry beneath civilian population centers in Beirut, using the civilian population as a human shield for its terrorist activities.

The IDF is continuing to strike Hezbollah's terror infrastructure and degrade its military capabilities in Lebanon in order to restore security to the citizens of the State of Israel.
Media in Lebanon reported an attack in Ain al-Hilweh, the largest "Palestinian refugee camp" in the country, located near the city of Sidon.
The targets were the leader of the “Al Aqsa-martyrs battalions” commander, Munir Al Makdah and his son Hassan.
The IDF spokesman in Arabic just published this on social media:

‼️ Urgent warning to the residents of South Lebanon:

⭕️ Heavy fighting is taking place in southern Lebanon, with Hezbollah elements using the civilian environment and the population as human shields to launch attacks.

⭕️ For your personal safety, we ask you not to move vehicles from the northern region to the southern region of the Litani River.

⭕️ This warning is in effect until further notice.
Amidst all the regional turmoil: the American administration is increasing aid to the Palestinians
In the midst of all the regional turmoil, the American Agency for International Development USAID, which belongs to the American government, announced yesterday a generous aid to the Palestinians. According to its official announcement, it will transfer $336 million to the Palestinians "as additional humanitarian aid to the residents of Gaza and the West Bank affected by the ongoing conflict, which has forced more than 1.9 million Palestinians to be displaced from their homes and more than 2.1 million Palestinians to face acute food insecurity."

With this aid, USAID noted that "total announced US humanitarian assistance for the Palestinian people reaches more than $1 billion since October 2023."

This week overall appears to be a successful one for the Palestinians after Saudi Arabia announced that it is renewing financial aid to the Palestinian Authority (in an undisclosed amount).
