Russian electronic warfare system "Sphere" was successfully tested
Russian specialists in the field of electronic warfare have created and successfully tested the latest “Sphere” complex, which combines the benefits of electronic warfare and electronic reconnaissance systems. “Sphere” has already been tested in several Russian cities. According to engineers from the Chelyabinsk-based radio production facility “Polet” (part of "Rostec"), they have created a multi-band system that is effective against drone attacks and has a high ability to cover a large area. The area of directed interference is several square kilometers.
The work principle of “Sphere” is: at the first stages of interaction with drones, “Sphere” functions as a radar system, finding drones in the airspace. Further, the control channels and video channel flow of the UAV are identified. After the control unit specifies to the operator of the complex how to work: in automatic mode or transfer decision-making to a human.
Part of the “Sphere” units were sent to the SSO, where the system fully justified the tasks assigned to it for battle defense. The system units installed on the armored vehicle suppressed about 10 attack drones of the Ukrainian army. Almost any radar system can be integrated into the system, which will increase the drone detection capabilities.

Корпус бронемашины лопнул в районе люка-механика водителя, весь левый борт отделился. Сквозь широкую трещину видно выгоревшее нутро машины. Бронированный щиток-отражатель волны, которым прикрыта ходовая часть, не помог - удар пришелся выше, в тонкую штатную броню. Также пострадала и ходовая часть: с правой стороны от броневика валяются опорный каток и разорванная гусеница. Видимо, БМП подорвалась на мине, а затем была разбита артиллерией.
Голландцы почему-то отнесли YPR-765 к разряду боевых машин пехоты, хотя назвать ее таковой можно лишь с огромной натяжкой. По большому счету это американский гусеничный бронетранспортер М113 с алюминиевой броней, защищающей от стрелкового оружия и осколков, на который установлена башня с пушкой или крупнокалиберным пулеметом.
Изначально YRP-765 создавался для вооруженных сил США, но им не подошел и ему нашли применение в вооруженных силах других государств. Из-за своей слабой защищенности эти БМП живут в условиях СВО крайне недолго.

The hull of the armored vehicle cracked in the area of the driver's hatch, the entire left side detached. Through the wide crack you can see the burnt-out gut of the machine. Armored shield-reflector wave, which covered the undercarriage, did not help - the strike came above, in the thin armor. The chassis was also damaged: on the right side of the armored vehicle there is a support roller and a torn track. Apparently, the BMP exploded on a mine and then was smashed by artillery.
For some reason, the Dutch classified the YPR-765 as an infantry fighting vehicle, although it can be barely called like that. Actually YRP-765 is an American tracked armored personnel carrier M113 with aluminum armor protecting from small arms and fragments, on which a turret with a cannon or large-caliber machine gun is mounted.
The YRP-765 was originally designed for the U.S. military, but it was not suitable for them and was used by the armed forces of other countries. Due to their weak defense, these armored vehicles do not live very long in combat conditions.

"Торнадо-С" - углубленная модификация РСЗО 9К58 "Смерч". Она стала еще мощнее и дальнобойнее за счет управляемых реактивных снарядов. Сейчас снаряд имеет дальность стрельбы от 20 до 120 км. Благодаря применению спутниковой системы ГЛОНАСС возросла точность. Также "Торнадо-С" может наводиться при помощью беспилотников. За счет этого круговое вероятное отклонение ракет составляет всего несколько десятков метров. Платформа РСЗО получила автоматизированную систему управления огнем и аппаратуру подготовки пуска, что позволяет оперативно принимать и обрабатывать информацию. Масштабная модернизация позволяет работать боевой машине без командного пункта. Это помогает быстрее занимать огневую позицию, развертываться и готовиться к ведению огня. Также это снижает уязвимость РСЗО из-за более быстрого перемещения на другую позицию.
"Торнадо-С" отлично зарекомендовала себя в ходе спецоперации. С помощью этой системы поражаются командные пункты, склады горюче-смазочных материалов, железнодорожные узлы, опорные пункты, штабы противника, аэродромы, а также скопления бойцов и техники ВСУ. “Tornado-S” is a deep modification of the 9K58 “Smerch” MLRS. It has become even more powerful and long-range by using guided rocket projectiles. Now the projectile has a range of 20 to 120 kilometers. Thanks to the use of the GLONASS satellite system, the accuracy has increased. The Tornado-S can also be guided by drones. Due to this fact, the circular probable deflection of missiles is only a few tens of meters. The MLRS platform has received an automated fire control system and launch preparation equipment, which makes it possible to promptly receive and process information. The large-scale modernization allows the combat vehicle to operate without a command post. This helps the vehicle to take a firing position, deploy and prepare for firing more quickly. It also reduces the vulnerability of the MLRS due to faster movement to another position.
“Tornado-S” has proven itself perfectly during Special Military Operation. This system is used to hit command posts, fuel and oil depots, railroad junctions, strongholds, enemy headquarters, airfields, as well as concentrations of AFU soldiers and equipment. It works on both moving and stationary targets. The accuracy of the Tornado-S is sufficient to cover both mobile mortars and U.S. HIMARS units with fire. It is possible to introduce an individual flight mission for each projectile. That is, the missiles can hit not only areas, but also find their specific targets (including mobile ones).
300-mm rockets with a range of up to 200 kilometers are being developed for the Tornado-S. This will allow the complex to accomplish tasks comparable to those of the “Iskander” operational tactical system.

“Tornado-S” has proven itself perfectly during Special Military Operation. This system is used to hit command posts, fuel and oil depots, railroad junctions, strongholds, enemy headquarters, airfields, as well as concentrations of AFU soldiers and equipment. It works on both moving and stationary targets. The accuracy of the Tornado-S is sufficient to cover both mobile mortars and U.S. HIMARS units with fire. It is possible to introduce an individual flight mission for each projectile. That is, the missiles can hit not only areas, but also find their specific targets (including mobile ones).
300-mm rockets with a range of up to 200 kilometers are being developed for the Tornado-S. This will allow the complex to accomplish tasks comparable to those of the “Iskander” operational tactical system.
