$40k MRR with a twist of irony
ironically, we crossed this milestone while I was detained and deported from the U.S., the very country whose citizens our business helps to live better lives abroad
we achieved this thanks to record-breaking performance in April and May, driven by the high season, new product launches, and improved marketing efforts
next steps?
diversifying marketing channels, stabilizing and reducing churn, and preparing to launch an exciting new product expansion later this year

50% of our $1 million ARR for SavvyNomad.io 🎉 🎉 🎉
I still remember when I first began publicly sharing this journey, and we were celebrating single-digit percentage growth
↳ now, reaching half of our journey to $1 million ARR is incredibly exciting
our growth remains strong, consistently climbing 15–25% MoM, which is great for a fully bootstrapped business without external funding
in a world where everyone seems focused on a 996 grind in California, especially in the AI startup space
↳ I'm grateful to lead a different kind of entrepreneurial life
I'm happily maintaining my nomadic lifestyle - taking days off to hike, prioritizing daily morning workouts, and enjoying meaningful time with family and friends - all while surpassing our revenue targets ahead of schedule
what's next for achieving the remaining 50% of our ARR goal?
→ double down: reinforce what's working by scaling up our proven channels and operational support
→ diversify and experiment: expand into new marketing channels, particularly through video content and strategic media assets.
excited for what's ahead!

the bigger we get, the more often I’m asked when we’ll raise money
hopefully never
we’ve grown to $45K MRR by bootstrapping, and staying independent has been our best strategic decision so far
in the new video, I break down exactly why we’re saying “no” to VC money:
→ hidden costs of fundraising
→ infinite-game mindset of bootstrapping
→ how to decide what’s best for your startup: raise or bootstrap?

Why my $74k/m startup refuses venture funding?
Hi, I’m Bo, co-founder of SavvyNomad.io, and in this video, I share why our fully bootstrapped startup keeps saying “no” to venture capital, plus how you can decide whether to fundraise or build on revenue.

how my startup added $7K MRR in June (our best month ever) 👇
in this month's update:
→ how we broke $45K in MRR (+$7K new MRR), even with 29% fewer new customers
→ what went wrong with Google Ads, causing a huge spike in sign-ups but fewer paying conversions (4,133 sign-ups, just 21 customers)
→ how Google's AI Overviews doubled our organic impressions but halved our CTR, and our next steps to leverage it
