📰 Mitsubishi Motors has finalized its decision not to participate in the management integration plan proposed by Honda and Nissan, citing fears of being marginalized, sources revealed on January 24.

🚘 Instead, Mitsubishi plans to remain under Nissan, its largest shareholder, while seeking ways to collaborate with both automakers.

ℹ️ Honda and Nissan are considering establishing a holding company in August 2026, with plans to delist and operate under a single umbrella. However, Mitsubishi intends to stay outside the holding company framework and maintain its position as a Nissan subsidiary, with Nissan holding just under 30% of Mitsubishi’s shares.

🚘 RS 7 will be deprived of V8, but made more powerful

📆 In 2025, Audi's sports division will present two new ultimate performance liftbacks: the all-electric RS 6 e-tron and the plug-in hybrid RS 7. The latter will receive a powertrain based on a V6 engine. In this case, its total power will be higher than that of the current five-door with a turbo 8.

🐎 Hybrid RS 7 Sportback will develop about 725 hp. In the overboost mode, the system output will briefly increase by about 50 hp due to the electric component. The current model develops 630 hp.
