Ethereum-compatible Layer 1 Monad has begun launching its testnet as part of a phased release. Monad claims to have optimized the way Ethereum works to provide greater throughput. The network's token will be used to pay for transactions to be included within blocks, known as a carriage cost, and for transactions to be executed. Monad has previously raised $244M from Paradigm, Electric Capital, Placeholder Capital, and others.

Clearpool has executed the Q3 2024 CPOOL buyback and burn, successfully purchasing 482,458 tokens. The revenue generated from Clearpool Prime, Credit Vaults, Dynamic Pools, and the USDX Pool were combined and allocated towards the buyback.
