@LtVesta @John_A_Ridge: A limited FoV is not actually a flaw when it comes to BMD. Arabel being 360 degrees is why it lacks the detection range against ballistic threats. Ideally you want both, as LTAMDS will provide, but if you have to choose, you want all your power concentrated in a limited FoV to maximize your detection & track range, and therefor your defended footprint.
