Hi everyone!

My name is Syrlybayev Damir. I got accepted into Washington and Lee University for a full-ride scholarship!
I am a senior at NSPM Astana, and my stats are 8 APs, 7.5 IELTS, 3.9 GPA, and 1450 SAT.

I am part of the student council this year. I had my coding club and was a finalist and winner of national and international olympiads in Informatics, such as the Int. Zhautikov Olympiad, Eurasian CS team olympiad and etc. I would love to thank my mom first, as she was my number one fan. She helped me with my CSS Profile, supported me morally, and believed in me.

I first participated in the EducationUSA Summer Camp 2024, and I’m very grateful for the EducationUSA team, especially Mrs. Madina (@madinyan.a), with whom I have worked since the beginning of this summer. She was the person who guided me through the admission process, checked essays, and supported me along the way. Also, I would love to thank my school counselor, Mrs. Gulden.
If you have questions, pls dm me. My ig: litl_damir
