Thank you Welcoming Schools!
The Supreme Court’s decision in Mahmoud v. Taylor is a troubling step backward for educational equity. By narrowing the scope of legal protections for students facing discrimination and marginalization, the ruling risks weakening the very systems meant to safeguard young people in our schools. As educators, we know that learning can only happen when students feel safe, supported, and affirmed. This decision underscores the urgent need for continued advocacy, policy reform, and unwavering commitment to creating inclusive school environments where every student can thrive. We will not be silent—we will continue to lead with courage, compassion, and conviction. source

I am so proud of who our babies are becoming in addition to who they are now.
Kids of social conscience and awareness.
Kids who have developed empathy not just for their immediate relationships but for the plight of entire peoples and lands.
Kids who are gonna f*ck sh*t up in the best way.
Kids who have at least one parent teaching them the truth, teaching them young, and telling them what they need to know. 🥹🥰
J0in us in July for some necessary conversations for anyone in relationship to children and youth.

Medicaid funds support entire hospital systems. If those funds get cut, providers may end up cutting care for entire communities regardless of whether patients are on Medicaid or a private health insurance plan. This will be particularly harmful to rural communities with fewer providers. Premiums may also go up for people with private health insurance plans. Medicaid cuts hurt everyone. source
