As a Muslim I don’t personally celebrate Christmas but I hope all of you that do take a moment today to realize this is now the second Christmas our brothers and sisters in the birthplace of Jesus are experiencing hell on earth.
We our 445 days into the ongoing massacre of our people. Now is not the time to normalize what is happening.

ppl talk about search engines universally getting worse mostly as a personal inconvenience, so it wasnt until just now that it dawned on me that vast amounts of the information stored on the internet becoming increasingly difficult if not impossible to access could have actually catastrophic consequences for like, all of human society

What happens if that ability to step aside and fact check something becomes waaaaaay more difficult and time consuming? What happens if all the top search results are the same misinformation that you just encountered, rephrased by AI and dropped on fake science websites? source
