in light of recent events, i am seeing a lot of posts talking about punching nazis and fighting nazis. and that is good and all, but at the end of the day it is worthless if your activism starts and ends at condemning the nazi salute. antisemitism and nazism are more than sieg heiling and spray painting swastikas on a wall.
if you truly care about nazism, learn about its characteristics. learn what it really means. learn how it has affected and still affects jewish people. learn about antisemitism, about dogwhistles, about stereotypes. learn how to identify it when it's hidden, when it's not coming from right-wing white supremacists who openly hate jews, when it's coming from friends, or relatives, or other left-wing groups. identify what antisemitic beliefs you hold. fight antisemitism even when it is directed at jews you don't like or you disagree with. source

As we see a barrage of evil executive orders come in, they are not immediately enforceable and will takes months or years to implement.
That’s still not great, but don’t let these pile up to the point of hopelessness. Take a breath, and look community leaders who will fight it every step of the way.

Reminder that when Trump was in office before a LOT of his orders got overturned or held up in lower courts for long enough that they became irrelevant. It also does not mean they WILL be enforced. Stand with your community where you can. The fight is not over. Do not obey in advance.

I feel like I need to reiterate this, Americans, we do not EVER turn anyone in for the reward money, because the reward money is a LIE!
There will be a reason they come up with for not giving it to you. Even Nancy, the snitch at McDonald's, who everyone in the world knows turned in Luigi Mangione, will not get a penny of the reward money. The reason she is getting is that she called 911 instead of the tip line.
But there are other reasons, like, the cops already had the info you gave them from "other sources". "Lots of other people" called in the same tip. The reward was "up to" the amount promised, so you're getting $1.50. You didn't do the proper paperwork before you gave the tip. And just about anything else you can think of. source
