"Not to be a downer but if i had to, at 12 years old, listen to my mother tell me all the different ways men would want to hurt my body, and how i might prevent that, then i really feel like teenage boys can handle a conversation with their parents that starts "let's talk about consent"

Love our Twin Cities Pride community!
🎉 We did it—together! 🎉
Thanks to YOU, we met our $50K goal in under 24 hours! Your generosity fuels the heart of Twin Cities Pride and supports vital programming like the Rainbow Wardrobe, Artist in Residence, Rainbow Feast, and so much more. Every dollar donated goes directly back into helping us create inclusive spaces, support local artists, and provide resources that make a difference year-round.
Let’s keep this momentum going! We want to ensure that everyone knows that any additional funding above the $50K will go right back into our community to ensure that every dollar makes a difference.
From all of us at Twin Cities Pride—thank you for standing with us. source

Document, document, document. Our challenging political and social circumstances mean that school administrators are navigating layers of influencing factors when they respond to bias-based bullying at school. Many school leaders elect to have in-person meetings or phone calls because there won't be a concrete record of their action or inaction. As parents/caregivers, we need to be prepared to hold school leadership accountable for following through with measures that will keep our LGBTQ+ students safe. During our upcoming online session, Family Responses to Bias-Based Bullying & Discrimination in School Settings, we will provide helpful language to make sure all stakeholders are communicating with clarity, transparency, and accountability. Click through to the event for more registration information. source
