🚨CALLING OC DADS🚨
We are honored to be a part of Orange County’s FIRST EVER Father Fest, taking place Saturday, October 4th, at the Harbor Learning Center in Anaheim ✊🏽
This event is dedicated to all the dads here in OC. We recognize the important role that fathers play in our community, and we wanted to create a space where dads can come together and connect with other dads.
We’ll have a keynote speech from Maestro Jerry Tello, co-founder of the National Compadres Network, workshops for dads, and a family festival with food and games to close things off 🍗🏀🏆
It’s gonna be a beautiful event, and we would love to see y’all there. Please go to the 🔗 on the flyer to register and learn more. ‼️AND PLEASE SHARE WITH ANY DADS YOU KNOW‼️ The more the merrier ✌🏽 source

Tumblr user rimonoroni2:
in a world full of tropes that romanticize the violent bad boy with a heart of gold archetype, heathers had the strength to say no. no. that man is fucking crazy. he is going to ruin your life. you are not bonnie and clyde. you are not the juliet to his romeo. if he wants to kill a bunch of people and explode that is HIS goddamn business. and honestly i respect the shit out of it for that source

You ever notice that it's socially acceptable to tell poor people how to spend their money?
But when we ask the rich to stop hoarding wealth the response is "it's their money." source

Tbh i think the disabling nature of a lot of work is sort of criminally overlooked by a lot of otherwise excellent labor analysts
Tumblr user thanatos-girl:
Like im a janitor, I clean all day, and at 23 I am developing serious upper back pain that is echoed in my older coworkers ten-fold. It's a job that demands you to be up and moving constantly and often bent over or scrubbing something. We (janitors) have much higher rates of back, joint, and muscle problems and injuries compared to the population average, as well as significantly higher rates of sickness and chronic illness. It's a job that literally destroys your body. source

Special Brief
As you may have noticed, we started a new following boost challenge.
Every day we will post a page that we like and that either doesn’t have a lot of followers or lost followers due to their political views.
As always, we don’t do it for the money or the reach (we’re going to lose some and we don’t care). We do it because we believe that as a community we MUST help each other. Sometimes helping each other is as simple as hitting the follow/like button (if that’s too much to ask, please unfollow us).
It’s important to know that none of the pages that are going to be featured have any connection to us or have even spoken with us before. We are really against nepotism and collusion, hence why the pages of our friends or anyone any of us know won’t ever be featured.
Don’t come into our DMs to ask us to feature your page. Don’t offer to pay us. Don’t try to use pity. That would automatically disqualify your page. We want no external interference in our process.
So, every day from now on there’s going to be a page pinned that we really want you to follow. If you believe in our values, you’ll do it. If that's too much to ask to help one of us, please unfollow us, you don't belong here.
We are going to make a post where you’ll be able to tag your page to give us more options to pick from. If your page uses content from other artists without tagging them, or if you remove tags from artwork, you won’t be featured (ever).
Only pages that help everyone and post content aimed at the entire community will be featured. Any pages that practice exclusion in any form will not be featured. Pages that call out other pages regardless of the reasons (except being a fascist) won’t be featured either (unity isn’t negotiable).
We intend to keep doing that every day (except some weekends and special days).

"The clitoris contains thousands more touch-detecting nerve fibers than once thought.
"The nerve that enables the human clitoris to detect pleasurable touch contains thousands more nerve fibers than once estimated - about 10,000, rather than 8,000.
"Medical researchers discovered this by doing something that had never been done before: They actually counted the fibers. source
