Today, in Leninsky District Court of Minsk, Viasna founder and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Ales Bialiatski was sentenced to ten years in prison.
Valiantsin Stefanovic, deputy chairman of Viasna, received a sentence of nine years in prison and Viasna lawyer and coordinator of the campaign "Human Rights Defenders for Free Elections" Uladzimir Labkovich was sentenced to seven years in prison.
