Out of all the characters in Game of Thrones (show only), which one would you trust the most and why?

I was talking with my aunt about the show and it got me thinking about how differently people view “trust” in Westeros. It’s such a morally grey world that even the “good” characters sometimes make questionable decisions, and the “bad” ones can surprise you. So I’m genuinely curious how everyone else judges this. Would you go with someone honorable like Ned or Brienne because they stick to their word, even if it gets them killed? Someone loyal and dependable like Sam or Davos? Maybe you’d choose someone more cunning like Tyrion or Varys, because in a world like Westeros, honesty isn’t always the safest thing, maybe you trust the people who know how the game is played. And then there are the wildcard answers characters who aren’t saints but might be the safest bet depending on the situation. For example, is someone like Olenna, Jorah, or even Sandor Clegane more trustworthy because at least you know where you stand with them? I’m really interested to see the different ways people define “trust” here. Is it loyalty? Morality? Intelligence? The ability to keep you alive? Or just someone you think wouldn’t stab you (literally or politically) when your back is turned?

Who’s your pick and what’s your reasoning?

What's everyone's favorite monologue and dialogue exchange?

I'm on my 3th try with this show, first time I'm actually into it. I'm currently on s4 and some of the dialogues and monologues are so amazing they gave me chills with every word.
I'd say the one I loved the most so far is Jaime's bath monologue is probably the one that got into me the most, so far.
Can't wait to hear what everyone's favorites are!
(I don't mind spoilers, just please be sure to tag them for everyone else's sake)

Stannis badass grammar moments in the books and the show

Obviously, “Fewer”.

Then, the letter he sent out where instead of trusting the maester to draft it he insists on dictating it and makes corrections in a prickly manner.

What else are moments from our one true king that show us how much of a grammar aficionado he is?

Everyone’s always sooo close to each other

First time watcher of GOT and on season 5, but something I’ve noticed that cracks me up (and kind of drives me bonkers) is so many characters searching for another and ending up RIGHT next to them, without noticing 😆😭

Examples:
-Bran goin North and Jon being right outside the windmill that Bran is in (bran did end up seeing him but still)
-Then again Bran and Jon being close at Crasters
-Arya and the hound being outside the Eyrie gates, but not going in bc her aunts dead even tho Sansa is inside
-Sansa passing by Brienne and Pod while they are looking for Sansa

I swear there have been more too, but I can’t think of them. It just cracks me up because I’m thinking “THEY ARE RIGHT THERE!!” I know it’s to help further the plot and they usually don’t know, but so funny that it’s so often!

If Tyrion and Qyburn had had a fight in this scene then it would have been hand to hand combat

Are there any instances of The Seven actually influencing any miracles or magic?

I’m listening to the audiobooks currently. I’ve read and watched the series previously at least twice each. (And I’m an In Deep Geek sleeper.)

It’s occurring to me that The Seven don’t really seem to have any clear practical/tangible effect on the ASOFAI universe, while most of the other religions/gods do in some noticeable way.

I’m curious if I’ve missed something or if this tracks.

Let's be real, these guys wouldn't have lasted two seconds if Joffrey were still around

Theon: "Ned Stark said that 500 men could hold Winterfell against 10,000."

If that statement's even remotely true, then what exactly happened in the battle against the dead that Ned couldn't have foreseen?
