So, we have two options for the thief role. Should the thief simply steal a role on the first night, turning the other player into a villager? Or should we let the thief keep going through the whole game (as originally described), which will cause an INS

Thief role can be disabled by group admins

Alright, I think t's pretty clear what people want. However, taken by suggestion:

Thief will default to being every night.

Group Admins can configure thief to use every night (insanity), only on first night, or disabled completely (like cult / tanner)

Sandman, Lycan, Wolf Man, and Oracle (was negative seer, we renamed it) have been completed (coded). Will work on the other 3 roles later. Thief has already been started

These 4 roles are now playable on beta bot! There is a small bug left: Lycan and Wolf Man both have the same role emojis: 👱🌚
We will fix this as soon as possible, but for clarification:

LYCAN is the wolf who is seen as a villager by the seer
WOLF MAN is the villager who is seen as a wolf by the seer

Both enforcer bots are currently offline while I do some server maintenance. Will be back up asap.

[Unofficial Werewolf Stats Bot]
As you may know there was a @wwstatsbot that help you figure out how many achievements you have and have not attained. This bot has been encountering multiple issues over past few months.

Please kindly switch to the new @wwstatbot (stat, not stats) with the exact same functionalities. It is also refined that you should get your queries faster than before.

[Werewolf Down]
The both werewolfbots' server is encountering issues. We're trying to kill all running games of werewolf and then look if we can fix the issue on our side. Sorry for that and thanks for your patience :)

P.S.: Don't spam commands. If you do, we will ban you from playing werewolf.

They appear to be back? We can't really tell what happened, but the werewolf processes ate up all of the server's CPU for some reason... Maybe they were just hungry wolves 🐺

The first four new roles have been released to both bots!

Lycan:
A wolf, but will be seen as a villager by the seer

Wolfman:
A villager, but has been hanging around wolves to much, and will be seen as a wolf by the seer

Sandman:
Once per game, the sandman can put everyone (EVERYONE) to sleep at night, so no one can use their night actions to hunt / see / anything. Note - Sandman will stop double kills from wolf cub death, and will also cancel out the blacksmith. If there is a blacksmith and sandman, pay attention, don't waste your abilities using them at the same time.

Oracle:
The oracle is the oppositie of the seer - the oracle can only see what a player is NOT, but will be told that they are not based on roles that are still alive. So if you get a message saying "Player X is not the tanner", then there is a tanner alive in the game.

One more update, just pushed out.
Oracle and Sandman now have updated conversion chances to cult:
Oracle has a 50% chance, whereas Sandman has a 60% chance.
Wolf Man is still 100% cultable and when trying to convert the lycan, the newest cult member dies (like for all wolves)

To be clear: The lycan looks like a villager... that includes to the sorcerer

Sadly, this affects not only users, but also bots, which is the reason why the werewolf bots are not working at the moment. They are hosted in europe as well. Please do not spam the bots until telegram europe is back. Hopefully telegram gets itself fixed soon!
