Addis Too Expensive

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia ranks as the most expensive African city to live in in 2025.

The cost of living index indicates the affordability of essential goods and services, such as housing, food, transportation, healthcare, and education.

β€’ Addis has a COL index of 43.2.

β€’ Without a robust economy, a high COL index will likely be corrosive to a country.

Imo, this could be made into a movie and it'd be an Ethiopian movies classic and potentially get international recognition. I absolutely see the movie in my head. If they do it, hope they do it right and high quality.
I took a snippet of Teacher Dani's story and turned it into something, give me a watch πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ™πŸ½

I and I

An interesting concept of the Rasta’s language is their concept of I and I. The letter β€œI” is in almost every part of their language. The Rasta use the word to connect themselves to god, to show that god is always part of them.

A Rasta usually doesn't say β€œI am going there” instead it would be β€œI and I am going there”. The Rasta does this to show that god is part of him, and that he is not separate from any other person. β€œI” is also used to replace letters of powerful words. This too is reflected in the word β€œyou” not being part of the Rasta language.
