The beginning of fall is fruitful for professional holidays for geologists. Russia celebrates its geologists on the first Sunday of April, but four countries celebrate their own geological holidays around this time. On September 29, Venezuela celebrates its National Geologist's Day. Vietnam and Kyrgyzstan mark the anniversary of the establishment of their geological surveys on October 2 and 5, respectively. On October 24, Cuba honors its geologists with the Day of the Geological Worker.
The Karpinsky Institute not only maintains professional connections with these countries but also fosters warm friendships. Two of these countries—Kyrgyzstan and Cuba—are home to Karpinsky Classes, welcoming students and enthusiasts alike.
We want to take this opportunity to congratulate all geologists. 🤝👏Your hard work and dedication drive the exploration of our planet's resources and help us better understand the Earth's dynamic processes. May your discoveries continue to shape the future and inspire generations to come! 💫
