I don't get the concerns of many that the conservative establishment are using borderline White Nationalist talking points to attack their political enemies and win popular support - this is an objectively good thing, it is surrendering to us the moral/ideological high ground.

The idea that it will delude our movement into unduly trusting the conservative establishment is manifestly untrue. Our ideological radicalism on the issues which matter most is only increasing and our criticism of populist figureheads is as sharp as ever - the more concessions we get, the more demanding (not less) we are becoming.

The graph I posted is on ethnic overrepresentation in crime in Europe, not "Islamic crime".

If Tommy Robinson was posting those crime statistics as an argument for immigration restriction and being reposted to 200 million people, yes I would consider that a very good thing.

I'm pretty consistent on this. I've always said it's a positive that larger figures in the conservative movement are starting to adopt nationalist arguments for immigration restriction.

No, the politics of Musk and Reform don’t exactly line up with nationalists, but Nick has yet to explain how they’re benefiting over a leftist government is actually at our expense. This would only make sense if Reform were worse for nationalist interests than Labour, or if nationalists were now dropping their own organising and compromising on their radicalism to join Reform, but that’s not the case.

Reform would do things like abolish hate speech laws and other tyrannical aspects of British law specifically designed to oppress nationalists, and far from nationalists moderating their own views to empower them, Reform being in the conversation has already caused a wave of criticism of Farage for his refusal to endorse mass-deportations. So if nationalists aren’t compromising on their message or commitment to organising independently of the conservative movement, what exactly is the sacrifice here that’s going to be so costly?

Nick is treating this like nationalists are elite kingmakers in this scenario graciously stepping aside to give Reform a leg up, but that’s obviousy not the case. We are still on the fringes of the national conversation in most places in the West, and the growth of real nationalism will come alongside a broader shift to a softer populism. Refusing to take the opportunity afforded by something like this to amplify the reality of the Pakistani rape gangs is just giving that ground to the kosher right to direct nativist opposition.

On the UK's biggest political podcast, Rory Stewart describes the grooming gangs as confined to just two towns, involving 90 or so men "paying for sex."

That's quite a way to describe men raping children, some as young as 10 years-old, and some of whom were raped so brutally that they required hysterectomies.

What's crazy is that this actually seems to be the extent of his knowledge on the scandal, and this is a man who was once in contention to be leader of the Conservative Party.
