🇺🇸 We are ready to announce that our next English Movie Club meeting is going to be dedicated to Wim Wenders’ acclaimed film “Paris, Texas”! This 1984 masterpiece, which won the Palme d’Or at Cannes, tells a poignant story of loss and redemption against the backdrop of the American Southwest.

🇺🇸 The film follows Travis Henderson, a man who re-emerges from the desert after a four-year disappearance. Struggling to reconnect with his estranged son and search for his missing wife, Travis embarks on a journey of self-discovery and finds the courage to face his past self and deal with uncomfortable truths.

🇺🇸 Come discuss the film with us! We’ll talk about its themes, cinematography, and Wenders’ unique storytelling style, as well as closely examine some dialogue and analyze the imagery.. We look forward to seeing you!
