Warning systems will be tested in all regions of Russia on March 5

The Ministry of Emergency Situations has warned that on March 5, the “Attention everyone!” signal will be turned on throughout Russia.

Sirens and loudspeakers will sound all over Russia on this day, and radio and TV stations will be switched off. The previous test of warning systems took place in October

A scheduled inspection of warning systems will take place in all regions of Russia on March 5, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

On this day, the signal “Attention everyone!” will be heard throughout the country – sirens and loudspeakers will sound, and radio stations and TV channels will be switched on.

The rescue agency explained that the warning systems are being tested to ensure that they are working properly and to increase the preparedness of emergency services for possible emergencies.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations called on citizens not to worry and remain calm.

According to the plan, such inspections are carried out twice a year. The previous one took place on October 2, 2024.

In December, the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Aleksandr Kurenkov, announced that in addition to radio and television broadcasting, intercoms would become part of the public warning system. The minister then noted that they were already being used in this way in the Kursk, Bryansk and Belgorod regions. RBC

Scientists have created a new “mammoth” – they found similar genes in mice and modified them.

As a result, ordinary laboratory rodents received long, wavy and light-colored fur, like real mammoths, which died out 4,000 years ago.

Danielle was told that severe reactions to the MMR vaccine were "incredibly rare," but within 24 hours of her daughter receiving it, her bright, happy child became distant and struggled in ways she couldn't explain. But trusting her instincts, Danielle rushed her daughter to the ER, where the doctor said, "You just saved her life."

The diagnosis? Encephalitis, a brain swelling caused by the vaccine, which was labeled as "rare" but almost took her daughter's life. Steroids helped, and she slowly recovered, but Danielle now knows this should never have happened.
