Who do you turn to when things go missing?))
😁
😁
Yekaterinburg, Lucky Stars
My first regional conference, and it was great
- Great speakers, intriguing topics
- Brilliant ideas which I am itching to apply in my classroom
- People who are true professionals and who absolutely inspire
At the end of the day a young teacher walked up to thank me for my talk and expertise.
I was moved and again reminded of my age ☺️
That’s my conference takeaway.
Looking forward to bringing these wonderful speakers here and sharing their ideas with all of you! 🙌

As long as we have young teachers who strive for excellence, who attend conferences, who seek knowledge and books, who really want to improve, the ELT industry in our country is going to develop
. That’s my conference takeaway.

New year resolutions?
To an extent.
I hate long to-do listsbecause they haunt me
So I’ve found a great way to bypass them:
Set one big all-encompassing goal.
Having achieved this goal I’ll have already obtained all other subsidiary goals, or they will come as a consequence.
Anyways, that’s what I did for this year, and I think 2024 has been in the words of Michael Hyatt,
Gonna keep at it! 💪
How about you: any New Year resolutions?)
Behind me is Yekaterinburg♥️

Studying in public transport?
Check out posters in trams here⬆️ ⬆️ ⬆️
Great use of your time, I think!
I’d also include qr codes for the full audio lesson, because I’m not sure how to put it in fast speech.
And I guarantee that’ll be a problem in the future!
We are in Izhevsk: meeting up with friends and family
The other photos are from an authentic restaurant here in town.
They make everything from scratch. It’s adorable, but takes forever 😬
If you are in Izhevsk, we’re organising an ELT meet-up this Sunday!
Absolutely free of charge.
2 pm.
For details/to register, join the group.
Any questions? Reach out any time to me: @IELTS_tutor_nb

2024: Year in Review
Teaser. Introduction.
Buckle up, I wanna make a series out of it 😃🙈
Sorry!))))
‘Cause this year has been so long, so eventful and so much fun, I think I should break down my summaries into sections.
The thing is, are guys up to reading that all?
Or is it more of a “dear diary” kinda thing?
There are quite a lot of you out there, and of course your opinion matters!
The ball is in your court.

2024: Year in Review.
🦑 🐊 🦭 🦀 🦞 🦓 🦞 🦭 🦑 🦞 🦍
What has set this year apart from the rest of my life is obviously public speaking.

13.10 New Age MELTA, Moscow - Active networker
25.11 Business Breakfast, Nizhny Novgorod - active participant
Overall, 11 conferences this year with 5 offline talks, one of them being a keynote
Okay, I can officially say I can give myself a pat on the back.
It’s a solid start.
Was I nervous? Sure. Mostly, before.
How did I beat my nerves? I practiced, religiously.
It was my sole purpose of the day, and I think I did my absolute best.
Though I did stumble at the beginning, mostly because the light was blinding and I forgot my text
Note to self:
I want to give more practical talks next year, so I’m going to combine research with public speaking.
I’ll be happy to answer any questions here in comments, so others will benefit from the info
