The President held a videoconference meeting on economic issues

The Government is implementing several programmes to support private and corporate lending. The measures mainly include subsidising interest rates. Subsidised loans currently represent a considerable share of bank portfolios – about 16 percent, which equals over 17 trillion rubles, including over 10 trillion in preferential mortgages.

This support has produced meaningful results. Look at subsidised mortgages – hundreds of thousands of families benefited from them, among other tools, to improve their housing conditions, while Russia’s construction sector achieved record-high results in housing construction. Being able to access preferential loans helped increase agricultural output, as well as the number of people working in the SMEs segment.

Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova has unveiled the design of a new branch of the Hermitage to the President.

Dedicated to Russia's military victories, the branch will be located in the Old St Petersburg Stock Exchange on the spit of Vasilyevsky island.
