South African photographer Mark Dumbleton took this picture of a female lion after she lost one of her teeth in a violent fight with a predator. All this in order to protect her young, who survived in the end while she was hugging him with blood filling her face.
Little Ali did not seem to care about the extent of his mother’s suffering, but he will soon learn the extent of the sacrifice she made for him after he grows up and becomes responsible for protecting the herd.

"Milk & meat are a major source of Vitamin C. It turns out that all animal tissues contain lots of Vitamin C. They [scientists] were simply not measuring the right material. Vitamin C, the reductant, is not the biologically effective intracellular Vitamin C. Dehydroascorbate functions as an oxidant, not an antioxidant, in our cells, and you have to use a different procedure for measuring the oxidant form of Vitamin C which is intracellular. So if you use the wrong technique, you are blind to the amount of actual Vitamin C in our foods. All the official agencies are still deliberately staying blind to the amount of Vitamin C in our diet." Ray Peat, PhD 2021-09-21

Reflexology is a traditional Chinese medicine therapy. It works on the belief system that by stimulating specific reflexes that can can create homeostasis (balance) in the body, improving Qi (life force energy) and therefore heal the mind, body and soul. Each reflex is situated on the meridian lines - they are a network of energy channels or electrical pathways covering the body. They can easily become blocked with stagnant energy/Qi & Reflexology helps to unblock said pathways therefore encouraging the vital life force energy to flow freely around the body. These reflexes are found on the feet, hands, face and ears.
